My wedding photography takes me to incredible venues across the Cotswolds and further afield, with Dewsall Court a real favourite of mine just across the border in Herefordshire. A family-run exclusive use wedding venue in the heart of the countryside, Dewsall emanates an authentic romance that you simply can’t manufacture; a beautiful yet eclectic home, perfect for couples in search of a private party house within which to celebrate their nuptials with their nearest and dearest.

Tucked away in the heart of the countryside amidst beautifully manicured grounds, this historic family home is ideal for newlyweds looking for an elegant wedding venue with plenty of character – great for bohemian weddings and traditional country weddings alike. A Grade II listed country house with wow-factor gardens, including a lake and arboretum, plus a rustic-chic Wainhouse where you can create the wedding breakfast of your dreams, the wedding photography opportunities here are endless.

The unique house is a converted family home. Sam who owns the place are a great fun loving individual who contributes massively to the welcoming stylish boho vibe that it emanates. If you are travelling up from London, it’s a good idea to stay all weekend as it would be a shame to rush the experience. Don’t forget to check out the recently added secret cellar bar, which is perfect for carrying on the party into the night.

There is a chapel on site and ceremonies can either be held in the chapel or in the converted Wainhouse which has a lovely warm atmosphere on a crisp winters day. There is also the option to get married on the lawn in the summer, overlooking the surrounding fields. There is also a very cool after party cellar, so you can continue long into the night.

It’s a great venue to get some really stylish photographs at and having done quite a bit of wedding photography at Dewsall Court in the past I know a lot of places to go and get some great photographs.
