Wedding Photography Dewsall Court | Helen and Mark

Helen and Mark found me through a recommendation from Dewsall Court, which is always nice. It is a fantastic setting for a wedding and it is one of my favourites.  It is set in a beautiful rural landscape just south of Hereford.

I love it when I know I am shooting at Dewsall, you can pretty much guarantee the couple are going to be a great one.  Helen and Mark did not disappoint. The day started with the beautiful Helen and her stunning Bridesmaids Suzanne (her sister) and Laura (best friend) getting ready and having a laugh in the bridal suite. Whilst Mark and his Best men were warming up, (mainly through the use of a hip flask) and getting ready up at the top of the house. Dewsall is set up perfectly so that both partners can get ready without bumping into the other.

The ceremony was held in the converted Wainhouse and it was a lovely warm atmosphere on a crisp winters day, followed by drinks and canapés back over at the house. We managed to get outside into the grounds for a walkabout and some candid shots. Mark and Helen are very chilled and very easy to photograph and are clearly a great match.

The wedding breakfast took place in the Wainhouse followed by speeches and a unique and comedy rendition of the twelve days of Christmas sung by all the tables. Dancing carried on into the night.  Having done a lot of wedding photography at Dewsall Court in the past I know a lot of places to go and get some great photographs.

What an amazing day at the wonderful Dewsall Court. Here are some of the shots.
