Why I love a wedding at Dewsall Court (2019)

Dewsall Court update: Charlotte and Andrew are over the moon with their images and their film.

“You & Sam were fantastic. We genuinely couldn’t be happier with you both – thank you so much for your professionalism & for bringing such a creative eye to our special day 👌🏼!”

It was a beautiful sunny day when I met Charlotte and Andrew for their pre wedding meet up. I knew immediately that we were going to have a fantastic day come rain or shine.  A fun loving couple who have a good sense of style. They decided to go ahead with both myself as their photographer and Sam from Offbeat Films for the film. A winning combination.

Dewsall Court is one of my very favourite venues and I have been lucky enough to be one of their recommended suppliers since they started as a wedding venue. It has everything you need for the perfect day with plenty of photogenic spots to get lost in. Any one of the gardens is filled with seasonal colour. The lake is a hidden gem, and the Wainhouse is a stunning setting for either the ceremony or the wedding breakfast.

Charlotte and Andrew were blessed with the weather and the sun came out just before Charlotte emerged from the house to walk down through the grounds to the Church. The sun stayed out all afternoon and into the evening, allowing the guests to enjoy the fire pit and marshmallows before lighting up some sparklers and dancing into the night.

Here are a just a few of the great moments captured on the day.  Scroll down to see the Highlights film from Offbeat films.

If you are considering getting married and can travel up to Herefordshire, I would definitely recommend taking a look at Dewsall Court. It is a unique and luxurious retreat surrounded by gorgeous countryside.  Not many venues can boast of an exclusive cellar with it’s own bar and Sound system to continue the party into the night. Definitely an added bonus.

I have photographed hundreds of weddings at a large number of diverse and beautiful venues. Dewsall Court is right up there with the best of them.
