A treasure of a Cotswolds wedding venue tucked away in the pretty village of Elmore, Elmore Court is the perfect choice for bohemian brides, party-loving couples and festival weddings alike.
Comprised of a stunning manor house and estate with over 750 years of history under its belt, current owner Anselm Guise has transformed the Court into one of the Cotswolds’ most sought-after wedding venues; creating a stunning venue that not only shows off the estate’s history at every turn, but one that offers an unforgettable celebration location with incredible wedding photography opportunities.
As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, I’ve been lucky enough to shoot weddings for couples at Elmore Court on numerous occasions and was thrilled when Claire and Stu approached me to photograph their big day.
A sunny day in July set the tone for what was to be a perfect, joy-filled day for the couple and their guests. As Claire and her maids got ready in Elmore’s beautiful oak-panelled bridal suite in the main house, Stu and his groomsmen made the most of the morning sunshine strolling through Elmore’s beautifully manicured grounds, offering up some fantastic photography opportunities before the “I-Dos” were said in Elmore’s main hall.
The perfect day to make the most of the grounds, I was able to take stunning sun-filled shots of the bride and groom as they walked hand-in-hand through the gardens, returning to their guests for celebratory drinks before gathering in Elmore’s fantastic Gillyflower for the wedding breakfast. As the sun set on the day, twilight shots over Elmore’s grounds and across the sweeping countryside enabled us to make the most of the romantic late evening sunshine; the cherry on top of an elegant collection of wedding photographs for Claire and Stu to look back on.
