Simon and Angela had booked to have their wedding in Cheltenham, and were always going to have their honeymoon at the Karma retreat in St Martins, the Scilly Isles. Lockdown hit, and they both decided to delay the party until 2022 but to still get married during their trip to St Martins. Luckily for me, they still needed a photographer to capture the elopement for them.
What a day. It was my first visit to the stunning islands, situated a couple of hours off the south coast from Cornwall. Anyone thinking of visiting the Scilly Isles, I would highly recommend it. Don’t leave it until the last minute though, as I’m pretty sure they get booked up months or years ahead.
The photos speak for themselves, the sun shone, the scenery was beautiful, and most importantly Angela and Simon (and Hector the dog) had an amazing elopement.
